Reu Terms of Service

Effective date: April 28, 2026

These terms describe the rules for using Reu, a social invite and event planning app for hosts and guests.

Using Reu

Hosts can create invite pages, share links, manage RSVPs, organize planning details, add ways to help, collect vibe/theme ideas, and publish gift ideas. Guests can join public invite links with a lightweight guest pass, RSVP, react, comment, volunteer, and anonymously claim gifts.

Hosts must sign in before creating, editing, planning, or sending invites. Guests do not need a full account for v1 guest-pass access.

Free hosts can use the core invite, RSVP, sharing, and planning tools. Pro or trial entitlements may unlock premium host tools such as uploaded covers, AI-generated covers, contact queues, WhatsApp API sending, and future premium planner features.

Host Responsibilities

Hosts are responsible for:

Reu is not a ticketing, payment, marketplace, or regulated transaction platform in this version. Hosts must not use Reu to collect payments, sell tickets, or conduct regulated transactions unless those features are explicitly supported later.

Subscriptions and Payments

If Pro subscriptions are enabled, paid digital features are handled through Apple App Store or Google Play billing. Reu may change, cancel, or revoke entitlements when payments fail, subscriptions are cancelled, refunds are issued, purchases expire, or misuse is detected.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for the accuracy of their RSVP, comments, task claims, and gift claims. A guest should only claim a gift they genuinely intend to purchase or coordinate outside Reu.

Public Invite Links

Anyone with an invite link may be able to view the public invite page. Hosts should treat invite links as shareable public URLs and avoid posting sensitive private information.

External Services and Links

Reu can open or store source links from services such as WhatsApp, Pinterest, Amazon, Mercado Libre, Google Places, and other websites. These services are controlled by third parties and have their own terms and policies. Purchases happen outside Reu.

Optional AI cover generation uses server-side providers when configured. Hosts are responsible for the prompts and event details they submit, and generated covers should not be used for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or unsafe content.

WhatsApp Sending

Personal WhatsApp sending opens WhatsApp or `wa.me` with a prefilled message. The host controls the final send action inside WhatsApp. WhatsApp Business API sending requires Meta approval, templates, and server credentials before it can be used live.

Content

Users must not post unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, or unsafe content. Reu may remove content or disable access when needed to protect users, comply with law, or maintain the service.

Availability

Reu may change, pause, or discontinue features. Planning tools, contact import, local reminders, metadata import, and guest-pass flows are provided as app features, not guarantees that an event will run successfully.

Disclaimers

Reu is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reu is not responsible for event outcomes, third-party links, external purchases, message delivery by WhatsApp or carriers, or user conduct at events.
